These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Neelaam ("Neelaam", "we", "us", "our"), a listings and auction marketplace serving users in Pakistan. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Neelaam.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of Pakistan to register an account.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
One person or business may not operate multiple accounts to manipulate bidding, listing visibility, or feedback.

2. Listings

Sellers must accurately describe the item's condition, specifications, and price, and use photos of the actual item where possible.
You may only list items you have the legal right to sell. Counterfeit goods, stolen property, weapons, narcotics, and any item prohibited under Pakistani law may not be listed.
Neelaam may remove a listing, suspend an account, or refuse service at its discretion where a listing appears fraudulent, misleading, or in breach of these Terms.

3. Auction ("neelami") listings

Placing a bid is a binding commitment to purchase the item at that price if you are the highest bidder when the auction ends.
Bids cannot be withdrawn except where the seller has materially misrepresented the item, or as required by law.
Sellers must honour the winning bid once an auction closes. Repeated failure to do so may result in account suspension.
The countdown and bid amount shown on a listing page are the authoritative figures for that auction at the time you view them.

4. Fixed-price ("Buy Now") listings

Fixed-price listings are sold at the price stated by the seller. Once a buyer commits to purchase, both parties are expected to complete the transaction in good faith.

5. Payment and delivery between users

Neelaam is currently a listings and discovery platform: it connects buyers and sellers, but buyers and sellers arrange payment, inspection, and delivery or collection directly between themselves, unless a specific in-platform payment feature is explicitly offered to you at checkout. Neelaam is not a party to that transaction and does not currently hold, guarantee, or refund funds exchanged between users. We strongly recommend inspecting items in person, meeting in safe public locations, and being cautious of any request to pay before seeing an item. Where Neelaam introduces an in-platform payment or escrow service, additional terms specific to that service will be presented to you before you use it.

6. Fees

Basic listing is free. Optional paid features — such as featured placement or promotional ad packages — are charged as described at the point of purchase. Fees for optional features are covered by our Refund Policy.

7. Prohibited conduct

Shill bidding, bidding on your own listing, or coordinating bids with another account to inflate a price.
Scraping, harvesting, or reselling data from the site, including seller contact details, without permission.
Harassment, threats, or abusive communication toward other users.
Attempting to circumvent security features, rate limits, or verification checks.

8. Content you submit

You retain ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other content you upload, but you grant Neelaam a non-exclusive licence to display, resize, and reproduce that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace.

9. Disputes between users

Neelaam is not currently able to arbitrate disputes between buyers and sellers arising from a completed transaction. We encourage users to resolve disagreements directly and in good faith. If a listing or user is engaging in fraudulent behaviour, please report it to us at support@neelaam.com so we can investigate and take action on the account.

10. Limitation of liability

Neelaam provides the platform on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Neelaam is not liable for losses arising from transactions between users, the condition or legality of listed items, or interruptions to the service.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, engages in fraud, or misuses the platform. You may stop using Neelaam and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Neelaam after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
